Day out in Oxford with Lizzy, Pippa & Ann

Ann and me set out at around 09.30 am are destination was Oxford. We caught the bus within 2 minutes and we made good time and we soon arrived at Finchley road underground station. As we arrived on the platform are tube train pulled in to the station. It was a short journey to Baker street to change for the Bakerloo line for Paddington. We were now 30 minutes early for are train, so after we purchased are tickets we had a browse around the shops. Took some photos by the brass statue of Paddington Bear and then we herd are train anouncement that are train was now ready to board. We were soon speeding across the countryside heading for Oxford, the journey was uneventful apart from a 10 minute delay in the Reading area. Our train then pulled in to Oxford station just over an hour later after leaving Paddington. As we made our way to the ticket barrier Lizzy & Pippa started waving to us from the other side. Pippa and Liizzy gave we a lovely big Hug and I then introduced my friend Ann to them. After a quick visit to the ladies comfort room we set off to the heart of Oxford town centre. The girls were hungry so we went in search of a Pizza express, as we had a 25% off food voucher. Well we eventually located the restaurant and headed inside and was taken to our table. We had an enjoyable Lunch and Ann kept us all entertained with her little stories. The food was delicious and the company was even better. We then walked around oxford taking photos before headiing to an old English pub called the Turff Tavern. Lizzy bought us all coffee and a tea for Pippa. soon it was time to make our way back to the train station after seeing Lizzy & Pippa off at the bus station. We had about a 30 minute wait for are train, our journey back was quick and uneventful. It was a fab day out and I had a lovely time, Thank you Elizabeth Hounslow, Pippa Franklin & Ann for your wonderful company xxx
